Salary: Up to $80,000 DOE (Depending on Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robot/Assembly Supervisor to lead daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing robot and assembly teams, driving production schedules, ensuring quality standards, supporting employee development, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Robot & Assembly Operators, Cell Leads, Facilitators, and Set-Up Technicians.
  • Coordinate daily production schedules and workflow to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor production performance and address issues impacting productivity, quality, or downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP requirements, and company policies.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and process standardization.
  • Analyze production data and provide performance reporting and recommendations.
  • Coach, train, and develop employees while supporting cross-training initiatives.
  • Manage staffing, onboarding, scheduling, timecards, and performance management activities.
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, robotics, or a related production environment.
  • Experience leading teams of 25+ employees in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing regulations; ISO 13485 experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree or college coursework preferred.
  • Experience with employee development, performance management, and production planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and move throughout the facility.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Comfortable working around production equipment, robotics, and manufacturing machinery.
